Parking on Unimproved Surface
Parking on Unimproved Surface. It shall be an offense for any person to park, cause, or permit the parking of a vehicle or equipment within any front yard or side yard of a residence. It is presumed that the registered owner of the vehicle or equipment is the person who parked, caused, or permitted the vehicle or equipment to be parked in violation of this ordinance. Each day a violation of this ordinance shall continue and shall constitute a separate offense.
Speed Limits
All residential Village streets except Shamrock and alleyways are 25 mph.
Shamrock and alleyway speed limit is 15 mph.
Weight Limits
Avenue of Peace: No through trucks over five tons (10000 lbs) empty weight.
Snow Streets
All streets are designated Emergency Snow Streets After 2 inches of snow, No Parking
Prohibited Left Turns
No Left Turn 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Avenue of Peace onto Memphis Ave.
Through Traffic Prohibited
Vehicular traffic thru the Village with the following entrance and exit is prohibited:
(1) Entry off Bellaire Road cutting through to Memphis Avenue, entering from the following streets: West 120th Street, Brookfield Avenue, Guardian Boulevard.
(2) Entry off Memphis Avenue cutting through to Bellaire Road, entering from Avenue of Peace.
